Corrections come first. Safe Cosmetics Alliance is a publication, not a clinic and not a regulator. The form below is the way to get in touch. If a fact, a number, or a citation on any page is wrong, tell us which page and which claim, and we will fix it.
Send a message
Only the message itself is required. What you send is stored, together with the sending IP address and browser user-agent string, so that abuse of the form can be dealt with. The privacy policy explains what we keep.
What we welcome
- Corrections. Send the page address and, if you have it, the source that shows the error.
- Source suggestions. New FDA actions, rule changes under MoCRA, or research an article should have cited.
- Questions about the site itself. Who publishes it and why it sits on this domain. Short answers are on the about page.
What this form cannot do
- Personal skincare or medical advice. We cannot tell you whether a product or a treatment is right for you, and we cannot assess anything on your skin. A licensed clinician can.
The former organization
We are not the advocacy group that used this domain before us, and we hold none of its records. We cannot pass a message to its former staff, officers, or members. The about page explains the history in full.
If you are reacting to a product right now, do not wait for a reply here. Stop the product and contact a clinician. For trouble breathing or swallowing, swelling of the face or throat, or spreading blisters, call 911 or go to an emergency room. Reactions to a cosmetic can also be reported to the FDA through its MedWatch program.
